National Quality Registry for Palliative Care

The aim of the Swedish Palliative Registry is to gradually improve care in the final stage of life regardless of care provider. There is a great need for this, as 80 percent of persons who die each year have palliative care needs for a shorter or longer period of time before death, no matter where they are cared for.
