National Quality Registry for Fractures (SFR)

Registry category: Diseases of the movement organs

Certification level: 2

Central personal data controller (CPUA): Västra Götalandsregionen

The objective of the Swedish Fracture Registry (SFR) is to increase knowledge on the outcome of fracture treatment in Sweden, both surgical and non-surgical. Through more detailed knowledge on the results of fracture treatment, the quality of care can be improved.

The registration of both surgically and non-surgically treated fractures is an extensive and complex process that has great potential to provide answers to important questions regarding the best treatment options. Information is registered on the injury, fracture, treatment provided, and patient-reported outcome measures (PROM).
