Nathalie Martin Bekier

Nathalie Martín Bekier is Deputy Project Manager for the second phase of the Desentralisation Support Project (DSPII) in Ukraine. She holds a Master's degree in political science from Uppsala University, Sweden specialized in international development cooperation and the EU. She counts with 14 years of experience from international development cooperation and public administration including the Swedish MFA.

She has lived in Brussels where she worked with the European Confederation of Development NGOs and has also extensive experience from Latin America. She joined SALAR International in Colombia working closely with municipalities in post-conflict areas to develop innovative citizen participation methodologies. Her geographical focus changed when she, since 2021, has been working with SALAR Internationals project in Ukraine.

Nathalie is a team player with high organizational skills and with a particular sense for building trustful and strong relationships with teams and local stakeholders.
