Charlotte Booth is Project Manager for SALAR International project in the Democratic Republic of Congo. She holds a master's degree in political science, Media Studies, and German Literature from Friedrich-Schiller-University Jena, Germany, specialized in international relations.

Charlotte has 15 years’ experience in peacebuilding and governance support. Her areas of expertise include Design, Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning, civil society capacity development, women’s and youth participation in peace processes, community-led peacebuilding methods including dialogue and Participatory Action Research as well as conflict analysis and conflict sensitivity. She has worked extensively in supporting peacebuilding practice and policy initiatives in the Horn of Africa region (Somalia, Ethiopia, Kenya, Sudan) and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). With the women’s rights organisation Kvinna till Kvinna, Charlotte focused on peacebuilding method support for a variety of projects, most prominently in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ukraine, Syria and South-Caucasus and DRC.

Charlotte is an experienced facilitator and trainer. She has led numerous programme- and strategy design processes applying a Theory of Change approach. She has also developed monitoring systems with colleagues and partners as well as facilitated and synthesised collaborative learning efforts.
