Anna G:son Berg is Project Manager for SALAR International’s Decentralisation Support Project (DSP) in Ukraine. She holds a Master’s degree in International Humanitarian Action from the University College of Dublin, Ireland, and a Bachelor’s degree in Social Science from Stockholm University, Sweden.

Anna counts with sixteen years’ experience of working in international development at both head quarter and field office level. While working on global policy issues, her geographical focus has been mainly on Eastern Europe and Sub-Saharan Africa, where she also lived for many years. Anna has in-depth knowledge of project management, monitoring and evaluation, organizational capacity development and advocacy work. She has experience of working with donors such as Sida, EU and the UN and has successfully led the development of new programmatic initiatives, coordinated international networks, and managed projects and teams in challenging circumstances.

Anna’s thematic expertise covers human and child rights, good governance and decentralisation, sustainable urban development and humanitarian assistance.
